Haute Couture Week of F/W 2015/16

Bellow are the looks from the Haute Couture shows that I liked the most. It was very hard to choose my favorite looks because there were so many amazing pieces. I am sure you guys are aware that designers can make some pretty complex pieces that are probably best suited for Lady Gaga, so keep in mind that these are ones that I myself would actually wear (if given the opportunity of course haha), so holla at me Viktor & Ralph!

Enjoy the pieces!

Lots of gold details in the right places and I am loving the hourglass shapes due to the broad waist belts. Clearly the fringe trend journey will make its way through fall and winter and Alexandre Vauthier has shown us how.

Looking at these pieces reminded me of looking at an aurora (not that I have ever seen a real one haha).

The 5th piece with the 3D effect is my favourite one but everything else is so gorgeous  and it was one of the collections I had the most problem picking out my favourites because the details from the make up, accessories, shoes, and the overall dress was just so perfectly on point.

Spring vibes during fall and winter? Well Dior says yes, and I cannot say I disagree with them because these pieces are stunning. The unique one sleeve on the coats that contrast the rest of the outfit are my favourites!

Despite the controversies over JPG, we can agree that his talent is unquestionable. That middle piece is definitely something I wouldn’t mind wearing to my wedding, like…” Hello, I’m here”, it reminds me of an outfit straight out of Coming To America with Eddie Murphy. The two other pieces are also lovely and the theme is very Bumble Bee-esque (new word?), so it is very welcome to the Blvck Bee’s closet.

Givenchy went all sultry with this collection and I loved it!

Purely magical pieces, but that is always the case with Zuhair Murads pieces!

So apart from that Jean Paul Gaultier dress, this third Chanel suit is another wedding outfit possibility. How badass would you look coming out in a suit? In a Chanel Suit for that matter. I think Chanel does a good job of making feminine outfits with a sexy masculine “I am the boss” look.

Fendi went crazy with the fur on this collection and I am sure that Peta is going crazy with Fendi. I am not big on fur but I definitely some some pieces such as these two that caught my attention.

I think the term “Diamonds are a girls best friend” use to be a thing before Elie Saab began doing his magic.

Literally a work of art, there is nothing else needed to be said about these!

Didit Hediprasetyo

Simple colors, beautiful patterns, and lovely cuts.

Another collection which is bringing spring into fall but the colors are just lovely!

If I was a minimalist, this would be my palette of outfits,  simplistic yet complex.
